Measuring What Matters
I build businesses, host conversations about personal growth, and design systems that help people take control of their time, money, and energy.

The Measuring Post
Measuring What Matters

Named after the 2x4 in my parents’ basement where we marked our height each year, The Measuring Post is a personal development podcast that challenges you to measure the things that actually matter: your growth, your character, and your ability to become a better version of yourself. Every week, I sit down with doctors, survivors, parents, founders, and everyday people with extraordinary stories. Plus, start every morning with The Daily Measure: 60 seconds of timeless wisdom applied to modern life.

A lifestyle OS for people who refuse to waste time, money, or energy.
Running multiple businesses taught me that your biggest threats are not lack of motivation or bad habits. They are the invisible forces stealing your three most valuable resources. I call them Bandits. And I built a system to fight them.
Time Bandit
Protect your schedule. Design your days around what moves the needle. Stop letting other people's priorities run your calendar.
Money Bandit
Guard your capital. Build revenue systems before spending systems. Make smarter financial decisions at every stage.
Health Bandit
Defend your fuel. Optimize health, focus, and recovery. No system survives a burnt-out operator.

Already Done is an AI-powered task agent that takes your 5 biggest weekly priorities and handles what it can, schedules what it can’t, and tracks every minute it saves you.
Building in public. Starting with myself.
I am building Time Bandit first, publicly, on myself. As a founder running multiple brands simultaneously, I am the test case. Follow the build and see every decision, trade-off, and system in real time.

About Joe
I have spent 21+ years in broadcast media, from studio engineering to media partnerships with iHeart, Crawford Media Group, Max Media, Westwood One, Local Radio Networks, Scripps News Network, and the Podcast Network Alliance. Along the way, I discovered that the best content in the world doesn’t matter if you don’t have the systems to support it.
That realization led me to build Podtopia Network (podcast growth infrastructure) and The Measuring Post (the personal development podcast and newsletter you see here). I created The Bandit Method because I needed a system to manage my own time, money, and energy across multiple businesses, and I figured if it works for me, it might work for you too.
I am based in Aurora, Colorado. When I am not building systems or interviewing people with incredible stories, I am working out, testing The Bandit Method on my own life, and trying to keep up with my son and daughter.
